Terms of Service

Welcome to European Filmmaker - www.europeanfilmmaker.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website and the digital products offered here. By purchasing or downloading any product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

This website is operated by European Filmmaker, the trade name of Vitas Vaičiulis, an individual business registered in Lithuania. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to European Filmmaker. By accessing this site or purchasing any product, you are using our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use any of our products or content.

2. Digital Products

OFX plugins (native plugins for DaVinci Resolve, for macOS and Windows):

  • Aftertone OFX - a paid color grading plugin.
  • Asset Blaster Ultra - a paid plugin that animates logos, titles and graphics.
  • Loupe Blaster Ultra - a paid zoom and magnifier plugin.
  • Nailer OFX - a paid color plugin, made in collaboration with a partner.

Free Fusion tools (effects that run inside DaVinci Resolve's Fusion):

  • Asset Blaster Free - a free animation effect.
  • Loupe Blaster Free - a free loupe / magnifier effect.

Earlier products that are no longer sold (Asset Blaster Pro and Loupe Blaster Pro - the Fusion versions that Asset Blaster Ultra and Loupe Blaster Ultra replace - as well as Baltic Elements, the Aftertone LUT and PowerGrades pack, and the DCTL version of Nailer) keep working for customers who bought them, under the license they were sold with (see Section 5).

Products may also be offered as bundles at a discounted combined price. Bundle purchases are subject to the same terms, applied to each product in the bundle individually.

All digital products are delivered by download link immediately after purchase. License keys for our OFX plugins are sent by email. No physical products are shipped.

3. Before You Buy

Some of our OFX plugins, such as Aftertone OFX, offer a free demo. Without a license a plugin runs in demo mode, which places a watermark on the image; demo output may not be used in finished or delivered work.

Asset Blaster Ultra and Loupe Blaster Ultra have no demo version. Please watch the videos and read the product page and system requirements before buying.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in Euros (EUR), and you are responsible for any local taxes or bank fees.

5. Licensing & Usage

By downloading any product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for personal or commercial use in video and media projects. This applies whether the product was purchased individually or as part of a bundle.

You may not:

  • Resell, share or distribute the files or license keys
  • Modify and redistribute the products as your own
  • Upload the products to any asset-sharing site or drive
  • Remove or bypass a demo watermark or a license check

You may:

  • Use the products in monetized content (for example YouTube, freelance projects and commercial films)

Each OFX plugin comes with its own End User License Agreement, shown during installation and included with the plugin. It sets out the details for that plugin, such as how many computers a license covers and how the license is checked. Where an End User License Agreement and these Terms differ, the End User License Agreement applies to that plugin.

6. Updates

  • Asset Blaster Ultra and Loupe Blaster Ultra - every update is free for the whole Ultra series.
  • Other plugins - updates within the same major version (for example, from 1.0 to 1.5) are free. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade.

Our OFX plugins have a Check for Updates button that looks for a newer version on our website and downloads it when you ask.

7. Refunds

Our products are digital, so once downloaded they can't be returned. What we stand behind is that they work. If a product won't install, breaks in a supported version of DaVinci Resolve, or doesn't do what the product page describes, email info@europeanfilmmaker.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll fix it or refund you.

We don't offer change-of-mind refunds on downloaded files. Where a plugin has a free demo, please try it first; otherwise check the videos, product page and system requirements before you buy.

Because our products are delivered digitally and immediately, at checkout you agree that delivery starts right away and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day EU right of withdrawal once the download has begun. This doesn't affect our promise above, or your rights if a product is faulty.

If you're a consumer in the EU, nothing here removes the statutory rights you have under the law of your home country.

8. Changes to the Site and Products

We may update, remove or change our products and prices at any time. Price changes never affect a purchase you have already made. Where a change materially affects a product you've already purchased, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you. We are not liable for any indirect loss due to these changes.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, products and branding on this site are the intellectual property of Vitas Vaičiulis, trading as European Filmmaker, except where a product is made together with a partner, in which case it belongs to its creators. Unauthorized use is prohibited and may result in legal action. DaVinci Resolve and Fusion are trademarks of Blackmagic Design; we are not affiliated with Blackmagic Design.

10. Third-Party Links

Our site may include links to third-party platforms (such as YouTube or Vimeo). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites.

11. Termination

We may end access to the site, block purchases or cancel a license if we believe you have violated these Terms or a product's End User License Agreement.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, this does not deprive you of the protections you're entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Disputes will be handled by the Lithuanian courts unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.

How we collect, use and store your data, including license data for our plugins, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
