Affiliate program terms

These terms apply to creators who take part in the European Filmmaker affiliate program, run by Vitas Vaiciulis, Lithuania ("we", "us"). By ticking "I agree" on your affiliate page, you accept these terms.
1Joining
The program is invitation only. We decide who can take part, and we can end the program or your participation at any time (see section 7).
2Your code
You receive a personal discount code. Customers who use it at checkout on europeanfilmmaker.com get the discount we've set for your code, and the sale is credited to you.
Sales are credited only when your code is used at checkout. If a customer forgets the code, we can't credit the sale.
3What you earn
- You earn the commission rate shown on your affiliate page, calculated on what the customer actually paid for the order.
- Only sales made from the day you joined count.
- These don't earn commission: free orders, refunded orders (a partial refund counts only the amount kept), and orders you place yourself with your own code.
- Commission shows as pending for 30 days after the sale, then becomes available. If an order is refunded in that time, its commission is removed.
4Getting paid
- You can request a payout from your affiliate page once your available balance is at least €50.
- We pay by PayPal to the PayPal email you enter on your affiliate page, within 30 days of your request.
- We cover PayPal's fees, so you receive the full amount requested.
- If an order is refunded after its commission was already paid, we may deduct that amount from your future earnings.
5What's not allowed
To keep the program fair, you may not:
- post your code on coupon, deal or voucher websites, or pay for ads that use our brand name ("European Filmmaker", our product names) as keywords;
- use your code on your own purchases, or get others to place orders just to earn commission;
- make false or misleading claims about our products, or pretend to be European Filmmaker;
- use spam (unsolicited emails or messages) to share your code.
If you break these rules, we may remove you from the program and cancel any unpaid earnings.
6Taxes
Payments are commissions for promoting our products. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. Taking part doesn't make you our employee, partner or agent.
7Leaving
- You or we can end your participation at any time by email.
- From that day your code stops earning.
- Commission you have already earned is still paid: pending sales become available as usual, and your final payout can be requested even below €50.
- Your affiliate page stays available read-only for 90 days, then sign-in stops.
- If you're removed for breaking section 5, unpaid earnings can be cancelled.
8Your data
To run the program we store your name, your email, your PayPal email, and the sales made with your code. We use this only to calculate and pay your commission and to contact you about the program. We keep payment records as long as bookkeeping law requires.
Customers' personal details are never shared with you: you see the date, products, amount and your commission, but not who bought.
9Changes
We may update these terms. We'll email you at least 14 days before a change takes effect. If you keep taking part after that, the new terms apply. Earnings made before a change follow the terms that applied when they were made.
